Social Work Trainee

You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. Sometimes, the most meaningful changes start with simply having a safe place to be heard.

Life can feel overwhelming, relationships can be complicated, and sometimes we find ourselves stuck in patterns that leave us unsure of how to move forward. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship challenges, or life’s transitions, I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported without judgment. My approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, authenticity, and genuine human connection. As a lifelong learner, I bring an open mind and a commitment to continued growth,

recognizing that every person and every experience offers an opportunity to learn, understand, and see things from a new perspective.

I believe meaningful growth doesn’t always happen within our comfort zones. Sometimes therapy means having difficult conversations, challenging familiar patterns, and taking accountability for what is within our control. I strive to create a balance of compassion, honesty, and gentle challenges, where we can explore difficult truths, celebrate progress, and navigate life’s complexities together. I value genuine connection and believe that even when the work is difficult, there can still be moments of humor, understanding, and lightness along the way.

As a Social Worker Trainee, my areas of focus include:
Undergraduate education and experience in behavioral health, community-based services, and clinical mental health, where I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating a variety of life’s challenges. I am currently pursuing my Master of Social Work (MSW) at Ohio University, with an anticipated graduation in December 2026. My approach to therapy is collaborative and individualized, drawing from evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

If you’re ready to get started, I always offer a 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit. I’d love to help you or a member of your family get the help they need to live better.
