Are you tired and overwhelmed? Do you feel disconnected from yourself and others? In a world where there are many uncertainties, you may become unsure of yourself or even of your relationships. You may not know where to begin or how to resolve the inconsistencies that you feel are burdening you?
My philosophy of counseling is CBT, Trauma- Focused CBT, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gottman and EFT- based! I feel it is important to address the systemic issues impacting the clients today while providing specific interventions and treatment to navigate the future. I bring a unique perspective to treatment including my experience of providing several years of service in inpatient partial hospitalization, and outpatient treatment sectors and extensive services to groups in the private practice settings.
Experience:
With extensive training in Trauma-Focused DBT, and Dialectical Behavioral therapy, I love helping teens and adults gain awareness of their skills, acquire self-insight, and cultivate emotional regulation to navigate the highs and lows of life. Having cultivated extensive training in Gottman Method and Couples-Emotion Focused therapy, I feel comfortable working with the whole family system while working with the individual and compiling a comprehensive plan to create growth and change. My goal is for each client to feel comfortable addressing their mental health and to create a life worth living
As an Independently Licensed Social Worker, my areas of focus include:
Teen Therapy | Anxiety & Depression Issues | Trauma | Family Mediation | Relationship Issues | Behavior Challenges | Self-esteem Building | Emotional Regulation | Self/Identity Development | Eating Disorders (Mild) | Teen Body Image Issues | Family Dynamics.
