Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee

Is your family experiencing a difficult time and the end doesn’t appear in sight? Are you feeling overwhelmed, and unsure where to start? I provide therapeutic services for couples and families experiencing conflict and distress in their everyday life. Reaching out for therapy can seem daunting, whether you are navigating a difficult season of life, feeling stuck or wanting to understand yourself and your relationships more deeply. My goal is for therapy to not feel like a chore, but more as a space where you can be honest, feel supported, and grow at your own pace.

Experience:
As a Master in Counseling student at Capella University, I have over 10 years working in the community in child welfare, assisting clients in utilizing community services and building rapport with clients of different backgrounds. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and evidence-based practices. Drawing from approaches such as Collaborative Language Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I strive to help clients recognize what’s working, reconnect with their strengths, and create lasting change.

As a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, my areas of focus are:
Adult Child & Parent Relationships I Blended Families and Step-Parenting I Career Transitions and Workplace Stress I Co-Parenting and High-Conflict Divorce I Couples and Relational Counseling I Emotional Regulation I Family Dynamics I Interpersonal & Social Skills I Life Transitions I Parent-Child Conflict I Parenting Issues & Education
If you are ready to get started, I offer a 15-min consult to see if we are a good fit. It would be an honor to walk alongside you and your family as you begin the journey towards growth, healing, and change.
